Dallas Teen Rap Battle

In partnership with the Dallas Public Library, the Rap Battle is an effort to give young MCs an opportunity to test their skills in a safe environment. The final showdown takes place on June 1st. Competitors can try out for their chance to take the stage by auditioning in April and May at respective library branches. Auditions will be: April 20th, 2 - 3:30 pm - Renner Frankford Branch; April 27th, 2 - 3:30 pm - Pleasant Grove Branch; May 4th, 2 - 3:30 pm - Hampton-Illinois Branch; May 11th, 2 - 3:30 pm - White Rock Hills Branch. Two teens from each audition will advance to the final showdown.
