Volunteer Opportunity – 826 Dallas Project

Volunteers Needed!
826 Dallas Project provides Dallas high school seniors with free college essay help, and we need volunteer support for our upcoming College Writing Workshop. Through group activities and one-on-one feedback, volunteer mentors team up with students to write their way into their college essays, helping students identify their strengths to let their stories shine. Training and all resources will be provided to volunteers.
Our upcoming College Writing Workshop is on Thursday, July 27 from 10:00-2:30pm at Irma Rangel Young Women’s Leadership Academy. A virtual Volunteer Orientation is planned for Tuesday, July 25 from 7:00-8:00pm. Volunteers must complete a background check prior to volunteering with students.
