S.T.E.A.M It Up Summer Camp

Our STEAM camp includes robotics, engineering, science, art, and math. Our robotics camp help students learn how to build and program a variety of robots using LEGO bricks and robotic software. Our simulated engineering camps gives students the opportunity to design, evaluate and reconstruct building, machines and global structures. Students build math, critical and creative thinking skills and learn how to problem solve all while having fun. Our art program uses collaborative art projects incorporating the component Art in STEM plus ART (STEAM) to help children tinker explore and use imagination to create masterpieces. Our Art and writing focused Comic Strip Workshop help students with analytical learning, build up self-esteem; improve reading comprehension and writing skills as they tell stories in pictures and words. Students will learn science, engineering, art and math concepts. The expected outcome is that students will learn how to use creativity and imagination to problem solve, employ critical and creative thinking skills, investigate, discover, connect, create and collaborate as a team and apply what they have learned through finished products. Participants will also maintain a S.T.E.A.M. portfolio.
