BOLD GIRLS AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM

BOLD GIRLS is a leadership development, life-skills and mentorship program for girls ages 11-18.

Our mission is to Empower Girls to Embrace, Activate and Celebrate who they were created to Boldly BE.

Through our program, we are able to address the critical need that girls have in developing a positive sense of self, awareness and confidence in resiliently navigating life, educational and professional pathways as well as a greater appreciation for authentic interpersonal relationships which will propel them toward living a more fulfilled purpose driven life.

Since the beginning of Bold Believers United Ministries, our Founder, Minister April Bowman, M.S. saw a need to provide gender-specific programming. BBU has incorporated this into all of our offerings since 2016. We also supported the initial transition within the Dallas Independent School District through program development and teacher training, as two schools went from co-ed to single-gender, the Young Women's STEAM Leadership Academy at Balch Springs and the Young Men’s Leadership Academy at Fred Florence.

In 2019, Bold Believers United launched our BOLD GIRLS program to support the healthy and holistic development of girls. Frazier Revitalization was our first site.

We are excited to expand BOLD GIRLS in 2024 and offer it weekly as an out-of-school time program across multiple locations in the Dallas and Fort-Worth areas!
