2020 Summer Theatre & Cultural Enrichment Virtual Camp

Bishop Arts Theatre Center Summer Theatre and Cultural Enrichment Camp is an eight week exploratory program for ages 6 – 12 in the Oak Cliff, Bishop Arts District and southern communities of Dallas, Texas. This year’s theme is “Art Behind the Mask". We are excited to celebrate our 13th year. Students enrolled in our program are engaged through theatre, dance, visual arts, and music led by master exploration artists virtually. The summer program supports our mission to cultivate a diverse and vibrant arts community while creating opportunities for local and emerging artists through performances and education. The summer program is $100 for the entire eight-weeks. The camp is split into morning online workshops and afternoon online workshops. Students will enjoy music (guitar) and visual arts (ecoarts/cooking) from 9:15am - 11:15am. Every Monday and Tuesday from 11:30am - 12:00pm, our community partners will conduct a 30-minute life skill workshops.The afternoon classes will consist of dance and theatre at 1:40pm - 3:50pm and reading from 3:50pm - 4pm.
