Reading Huddle LIVE (training parents for winning story time sessions)

The Reading Huddle LIVE workshop series will use sports themes to help parents/caregivers maximize the story time experience for children. Reading Huddle LIVE staff will (1) model effective story time routines for parents in 3 sessions at the MLK branch of the Dallas Public Library, (2) provide follow-up support over a three-month period with weekly calls to monitor frequency of story time routine implementation, and (3) compile data from pre- and post-session survey tools to gauge changes in the home literacy environment.
