YLSC Youth Advisory Council (YAC)

The YLSC Youth Advisory Council (YAC) gives high school students a chance to learn about inclusive leadership and community transformation through a racial equity lens. Led by students, YAC to shape monthly agendas, lead workshops, recommend speakers, and invite their friends. YAC students are active with YLSC throughout the year and have taken action to create equity in their community. YAC students also lead the YLSC Annual Teen Equity Summit, YLSC’s largest program. YAC meetings happen every second Saturday of the month and are open to ALL high school students across DFW.
