Epic Domain - Portrait of Your Character

After a brief affirming discussion, the students will be asked to draw a silhouette of themselves and then write different characteristics (from a list of guide words) or things they believe about themselves inside the silhouette and then we will color or create designs around the images so they can hang them or display them at home.

Learning outcomes for my students will be to encourage self esteem and self awareness. I will also encourage students to see good in others by having them to share something they see good in their classmates.

Physical attributes are not the only thing I want to emphasize but to teach students to build their character, internal qualities and personality traits. I will share screen to show a video appropriate to our discussion.

Self awareness is the ability to focus on yourself and how your actions, thoughts, or emotions do or don't align with what you feel inside. Being self aware can build confidence or self esteem when you have an objective opinion of who you are and how you perceive others see you. We want fight against our "self critic".
