"Guide campers toward an awareness of their worth in God's eyes and making informed decisions and actions, through exposure of the arts, financial literacy, literacy tutoring and physical activities. Through financial literacy, the students will learn to develop the skills and strategies that promote personal and financial responsibility. Through critical and creative thinking, the campers will learn strategies in decision making. The campers will develop the ability to innovate and use imagination in the production of work. Our mission of Concord's Summer Camp is to help kids grow through spiritual development, personal responsibility and leadership. We want to grow the camp one student at a time through exposure, education excursions & empowerment. We seek to close the achievement gap for elementary school aged children in the southern sector of Dallas and surrounding communities."
