This four-month digital credential program empowers high school youth to engage in game design and workforce development. It begins with a team-building game night to foster collaboration among diverse participants, including Hack-A-Thon and Opportunity Youth from Big Thought programming. Youth will brainstorm issues affecting their peers and explore potential game project topics. The program includes training on design thinking principles and project timelines from History Colab & iThrive Games (THC & iTG), followed by role selection within game design teams. Participants will receive mentorship, attend team meetings, and earn stipends upon completing deliverables, gaining valuable hands-on experience in game design and project management.
