Resiliency

LipGloss for Love, Inc

Program participants will engage in the process and dialog exchange of adapting well in the face of adversity, trauma, tragedy, threats or significant sources of stress—such as family and relationship problems, or serious health problems. It means “bouncing back” from difficult experiences. Resilience is important for a number of reasons; it enable us to develop mechanisms for protection against experiences which could be overwhelming, it helps us to maintain balance in our lives, enhances the ability to overcome risks, avoid negative effects, thrive and succeed in life.
